What Snoka is

Snoka is an independent Swedish visual fashion search product. Add a photo or screenshot, choose the garment you are interested in, and Snoka shows similar options that can be bought new and second-hand.

The web product is available at snoka.net/app. Search does not require an account. An account is optional and is used for keeping saved finds across devices.

Who is behind it

Snoka is built in Sweden. It started from a simple shopper problem: clothes are often discovered in images, while finding the same or a similar piece still means searching site after site with words that rarely describe what made the garment interesting in the first place.

The product is developed independently, including the website, web application and the search systems behind them.

How the product is meant to feel

The technology stays behind the interface. The shopper flow is deliberately simple: add the image you already have, choose the piece, compare the results, and continue to the store or marketplace when you find the right one.

Snoka brings new and second-hand results into the same search so that a shopper can compare store, marketplace, price, size and condition without starting over on several different sites.

Data and privacy

Uploaded images are used for the search and are not stored as a personal image library. The current data handling, service providers and account-related processing are described in the published privacy policy. Account deletion instructions are available at snoka.net/delete-account.
